R56 JCW brakes on 05 R53

OK I've looked at a lot of info in these forums. Does anyone know for sure if I buy a set of the R56 JCWorks (brembo?? made) brakes (entire kit) if they will fit on my 05 R53 ? The local dealer has them on a shelf ready to buy. So are they truly brembo made? They have red calipers marked with the JC "Works" logo and drilled rotors, seem to be much larger than my 05 S brakes. What should these cost new? They seemed unsure of the actual price, getting back to me about that.

Yes, I'm pretty sure they can be installed (with some adjustments) onto an R53, and I think there's some folks here on NAM that have already done it.

However, one thing you need to also be concerned about is which wheels will fit over them. There are only a very few specific OEM wheels that will fit them, unless you use a spacer. The problem is not just the diameter, but also the lateral clearance for the calipers.

And yes, I believe they are Brembo-made.

Do I need brake lines mods also? Should the dealer know these details?

There's another recent thread on this where someone said that the standard R56 brakes will fit an R53 but the R56 JCWs won't. So you'd better get positive confirmation.

Well yes the R56 stock brakes fit a R53 and the R56 JCW Brakes just mount on the same spots as the stock brakes, so yes the JCW brakes should fit the R53. But yes you should just get the stainless steel brake lines if youre going to go as far as to get the JCW brakes. It would be a waste not to.
But as said, make sure your wheels fit.

To fit R55/56 standard calipers to a R50/52/53 you will need new front brake lines that fit the R55/56. The caliper fitting has changed while the other end has not changed.

Now as to the R55/56 JCW Brembo 4 piston calipers on a R50/52/56 I'd imagine it will fit, you will need the rotors specified as these are larger in diameter than standard R55/56 rotors and I'd also think you will also need the brake lines as well.

Wheel selection may prove difficult as the JCW Brembo 4 piston calipers are larger.

Does anyone know if the '06 factory built JCW S has stainless B-Lines?
