Great shot, Gen 1 and Gen 3 , now all you need is a Gen 2 .

Thanks! It currently has 58,600ish. I got it with 57,500 for $10.5K The guy I got it from was the 2nd owner but only put 22k on it in 4 years. He also had the Control Arm Bushing and Sway Bushings replaced as well as AC Pulley and a couple of other things before I took possession $1600 worth of work!
He also gave me a new set of headers (complete kit), original front bumper, original air flow parts (Alta now), an air valve with a stiffer spring to hold boost better (?) and an M7 16% Pulley (which I just sold on E-bay to a guy in Israel for $95.75). I read that the difference from a JCW Pulley to 16% wasn't to measurable and I do plan on installing the headers unless they are not smog legal then I will sell those too...they are brand new so worth a few bucks (if I decide to).
The light rings were like that and they look like they belong (not painted).
The driver's window makes some noise up and down (like somethings loose?) and the passenger window stopped once...already did the Fonzie to it...lol. The passenger door won't unlock with the fob but does open from the inside so I figure it's the actuator based on what I have read. Not a big deal yet.
It's 11 years old and age affects mechanicals just like mileage does. I worked on aircraft in the Navy and if things aren't used regularly sometimes they fail because of lack of use too.
I had a '72 1275 GT when I was stationed in Spain back in the late 80's and always wanted a Mini since it was re-introduced. I will eventually get another classic too. Sold my 74 BMW 2002Tii for this car.

HAHAHA What chrome?
I see the beltline and scuttle and grill and headlight trim.
Hey - I have a black JCW and a word of caution. I'm also blacking out mine (maybe not the rims - leave them silver) but if I were you, I'd at least make your side view mirror caps an accent color.
Like I left mine Chili Red. Reason: these cars are so invisible - turn my headlights on half the time so I don't get T-boned in an intersection. Constantly flashing high beams at oncoming cars, cars making left turns etc.
Yeah you're in the right - but would you rather be accident free or right? The other guy 'll say "but I didn't see you . . ." and probably not have insurance. hahaha So I say "black out your JCW" but keep something highlighted for safety.
even my plates are BLACKED OUT hahaha

Picked up this 2004 JCW a few months ago with about 92k on it, totally stock, and complete with the Certificate of Authenticity. It was super clean when I purchased it, needed a few maintenance things taken care of, and then I just installed everything you see listed below last week.
I primarily wanted to concentrate on suspension and brakes to make the care that much for fun to drive. So far, so good! I love driving the Mini!
