R56 JCW aero kit on R55 Clubman S???

I'm trying to find out if one can but the front JCW bumper from that fits an R56 and put it on an R55 clubman?

My worries are that it might be lower than the rest of the stock trim or that it just won't fit?

Has anybody done this, are there any pictures?

thx

Hey There, I put the JCW front bumper on my Clubman and it looks great. I bought the whole kit and sold off everything else. I here that a Clubman body kit will be offered shortly, so you might want to wait. I wqish I knew how to insert pictures because I am sure you would like the way it looks. Good Luck with you new car and Happy Motoring.

Did you have to buy the entire kit? Can you not just buy the bumper?

YES and NO and....sorta !

MINI does not separately package the front bumper cover and all the other pieces that make up the front bumper portion of the JCW Aero Kit for the R56 Coupe. When you buy the complete kit, you get 4 boxes on a BIG pallet. One for the front bumper; one for the rear, and two boxes with a side skirt each. You can't just buy the front bumper pieces as a pre-packaged unit. Your MINI dealer can sell you all the individual pieces, but it is more expensive that way.

MINI is developing a JCW Aero Kit for the Clubman, but release date is unknown. Also don't know if the front bumper will be the same as the coupe's----but it should be.

The JCW body kit + the Stage I tuning kit for the Clubman should arrive at the end of this year.

I was originally told by a contact @ BMW NA / MINI that the JCW Aero Kit for the R-55 wasn't due until the "first quarter of 2009"...so all we can do is wait.

I did the same on my DS. Combined the front JCW Aero bumper and the factory Aero side skirts and rear bumper. Overall, it's a very nice clean look. The front bumper isn't really all that expensive.
