i was browsing around mwerks.com when i came across this work of art....i frikkin love it...some might think its a bit extravegant.....and technically, they're entitled to their own blasphemous (kidding) opinion...but i personally think its gorgeous...i think she's the 1st example of a modded R56 ^_^
I like it. What most grabs my attention is the two tone paint job and the JCW GP style rear-wing. Wheels and painted calibers are sharp. Cow-catcher front air dam is a bit over the top, but hey this is a showcar.

I just can't get over the NASTY side gills on the R56's, and thery've only made these look worse. The wheels look like they belong on a big sedan, not a mini. The paint is ncie, the bumper looks like a rice burner bodykit, not something that belongs on a mini. I'll agree that it looks "baller", but I don't think "baller" is a good look for a mini
Compared to the R53, the R56 hood still makes me a bit nauseated.
That's the one thing that most turns me off about the R56 model Cooper. The swooping lines of the R53 Cooper bonnet are one of the most appealing features of the exterior of the car !
Ugh... I'm hoping they switch back before I'm ready to buy another if five or six years.
And yes, that bumper is sick. And I don't mean that in the 21st century way either. It's awful.
I agree...it's a show car so there ya go. I like it about as much as I do any show car: I like this, don't like this...but I'd probably never want it on the street. R50...R53...R56...it's all the same.
Interesting with the side repeater grill, though...I could see specialty molded grills showing up since that piece apparently has been freed up from even trying to look like a grill anymore. Why not some subtle Union Jack (or other national flag), checkerboard, or 50th anniversary graphic action up there?
Flat paint look hideous. It looks like a big plastic Mini or like they spilled something on the Mini that ruined the finish or like they waxed on but forgot to wax off

very cool paint job....I'm not too fond of the body kit though.

I like the yellow/black combo but that's about it.

body kit is actually not bad at all, but that front bumper needs to draw back at least an inch - the overall shape is pretty good but it just sticks out too far and they need to ease the angle on the top of it a bit
