I'm getting orange to match the std lights
I just thought it would be cool to have the footwells "glow" while driving and the std white light come on when you open the door. I think instead I'll just run the footwell strips to the line powering the center console light (the one underneath) and the std white light should wash it out when the door is opened THis is all based on how bright the 4.7" strip is once I get it (ordered 4 this afternoon, 2 for the front footwells and 2 for the rear footwells which I'll try to mount under the seat)

You could have put both strips on that bar, one pointing forward and one pointing back. I guess you wanted a different lighting effect for the back.

Does anyone have tips on where to zip tie or mount the LED strips to the front footwells? I just wired them up and for right now just tucked them in the dash area but i cant see any good place to zip tie or mount with some silicon (like i did with the boot light mod)

There should be a metal bar that the knee bolster attaches to - the OEM white lamp housing is right there as well. I used zip-ties to secure my cathode bars. Crane your head up under there (better still - pop open the knee bolster) and I think you'll see what I mean...

K ill look at that later i could see anything directly on the knee bolster to mount it too i guess its more up in there
