Moss Motorsports mirror covers = crap

I purchased a set of the checkered mirror covers from Moss M. about 4 months ago and they have faded to an awefull greenish brown and white. The covers started fading about two months after i got them on the car. I have tried getting in touch with them but they havent responded to any emails. and when i call i cant seem to ever get through. it said they were UV protected so i guess this proves to be not very true.
I will take pictures tomorrow and post them. its to dark outside right now to take them. anyway i just want to post a warning. I dont know if they have changed anything to keep this from happening, or maybe i just got a bad batch. anyway if this has happend to any of you please let me know.

It appears as though they no longer sell them so MBE they realized they were crap. Hound em to make it right. If you replace them the dealer mirror caps at least carry a 2 year warranty against yellowing. My factory ones did yellow at right around 2 years but they were replaced with shiney new ones for free under warranty

I would have to disagree.
I have gotten many things from Moss and been very happy with the products.
I am not saying the mirror caps are not a problem, but a general statement like you have made is a little far reaching. Like most vendors they have some good products but are not perfect.

My checkered mirror caps from Moss faded green too, I was quite displeased but they refunded my money so all is good.

I will say that on my factory mirror caps the black never faded one tiny bit. The white just yellowed which in actuality I would expect white plastic to do over time
