Aero side skirt install how to?

Anyone who upgraded to aero side skirts happen to have a "how to" write up?

I looked around but haven't seen anything.

Would just like to have an overview of the process before I dig in (replacing my stock side skirts with aero).

Thanks!
T

The R53 side skirt is held on by clips, which you can see from the diagram below. Just be sure to remove those and you should be able to pop it off. The JCW side skirt should be the same and snap into place with clips and rivets. (Hopefully it came with the mounting hardware required).

Perfect! Thank you!

It's a brand new kit so came with everything.

I see you'd probably have to peel up the "Cooper S" door sill, Does this mean I will need new sills?

You're welcome. The door sill is on there with an adhesive. You may be able to reattach it when you're done with a spray on adhesive or a type of adhesive tape (like 3M). If yours is in good condition that is the route I would go instead of buying a new door sill. Otherwise, if you want to replace it we have them here.

Excellent, I'll order from you if I cant reattach mine. I have a small ding in my passenger side sill from a mic stand, so I'll probably be replacing that anyway.

I really appreciate your help.
