Extended wheel studs?
Does anyone know where I can get extended wheel studs for my r56? I want to run either a 12 or 15mm spacer, and the studs I have now will may not be long enough. I will try and measure today and see how much of the stud is threaded into the lug nut, but in preparation of my current ones not working, I would like to see if I can find some longer ones. They would have to be the M14-M12 studs to fit a standard lug nut. Perhaps this is something that would have to be specially machined? Thanks

with the WMW 14m > 12mm conversion studs, and stock GP2 wheels, I had 28(.46..)mm of stud above the wheel (top of the cone hole). with a typical nut, 14.1mm of stud. that's stud, not threads (the top few mm of stud is unthreaded).
keeping at least 2 threads past a typical nut, on the gp2 wheels for reference, you'd probably want no more than say 10mm of spacer.
obviously your wheel thickness will vary....but!
(way reports these studs at 52mm sticking out of the hub, so measure your wheel and do some math?)

There are more length options in m14 studs (14x1.25 > 14x1.5 for nut availability), though, if you're ok with that.
