Could you possibly post a pic of a "night view" with the reverse lights on of how much they are illuminating?

 

I would have to take one, but they are very bright, but low so they don't blind people

I've tried out two or three different led bulbs so far I like the color, only the latest ones have seemed to work very well. They just aren't bright enough for my liking, yet. I may have to pick some of these up and try them out.

Does yours happen to have a problem with a quick diagnostic strobe/blink when you start the car and random blinks throughout your driving. I did the same mod but found the correct light fixture. Super bright but when I start the car it strobes like 6-7 times. No cel though.

 

Yea, that's the bulbs check which is normal for all LED conversions for MINIs. I call it the "cop lights" on start up.
