Got rear-ended...now it's time for new Stripes!

Hey MINI family, I got rear-ended this week resulting in a crushed boot

It's been dumping snow like mad around here and the roads were pretty slick. I was sitting at a stoplight and he just smacked right into me!

Anyway, in light of the boot-smashing, I've decided to do something different with my stripes. I know I'd like to keep the rally or sport stripes, but I have been unable to find a picture of a chili red/black MINI with white stripes... Does anyone know of a MINI like that??

Below is a crude representation of my MINI with white sport stripes w/black pinstripes.

What do you all think? Do you think the white meshes better with the black pinstripes?

I like the white stripes with black outline. It makes them stand out and ties them into your roof and the other black components on your car. Where did you get the black hood scoop? I want to do that with mine. I'm going to have black rally/viper stripes and I think they look better with the black scoop.

That will look great. The white really pops with that slight black outline.

I had actually been looking for a black hood scoop to pop up on the NAM Marketplace, but ended up wrapping my chili red hood scoop in 3M carbon fiber vinyl. It looks ok... I'd much rather have the real CF hood scoop, but don't feel like forking over $400 for it! If you want a cheap way to change the color of your hood scoop, vinyl wrapping is definitely the way to go.

Another thing about the white stripes: I was thinking of widening them a bit (to about the edge of the scoop) and also making the space between them a little bigger as well.

I'd be able to work something up, but Photoshop is not cooperating

Looks good! The black pinstripes tie nicely to the rest of the car so the white doesn't seem out of place. Really like the idea of going with wider stripes, too.
