I know they sell backup cameras but do they sell rearview cameras? For example, I would like to mount a wireless camera on the passenger side mirror so I could see what is in the "blind spot" while driving. Do they make such an animal?
Just buy those small stick-on mirrors that you can get at WalMart or any Auto place. They are convex, so you'll be able to see your blind spot.
And you can get by with only spending $5 instead of $100+.

Backup cameras are just generic small cameras. You can also use them for the blind spot if you can find a good place to install it.
The small stick on mirrors will also do the job for the blind spot. Better is a full size Multivex mirror, which are available here and here. They are popular with the convertible because of the huge blind spot. In my experience, the small stick-ons are awkward to use because they are so small, and IMO they look tacky.
