I got an Aero Front!
For FREE!
Well almost
I ran into a friend today, who used to own 2 MINIs and somehow ended up with an Aero Front bumper that never made it onto either one of them.
He said if I did some photography for him, I could just take it. Couldnt pass the offer up.
Going to the body shop on Monday for a quote to paint it.

Just to update, I dropped the bumper at the body shop today. Should have it by the weekend.
Just in case anyone is wondering, its costing me $240 to paint the bumper Hyper Blue.

Does that include installation plus the paint?

Naw Im gonna install myself. That cost was just to paint.
If you can use a screwdriver, you can put a bumper on. I already test fit it last Sunday to make sure there werent any fitment issues.

Can someone please show me how the two flat black trim pieces are installed? They came with my aero front bumper.

No, they are sort of like eyelashes; I'm sure they go under the the bumper, but I can't figure out how.

If I remember correctly. they go in the front wheel well area either up and down along outer edge or laying down along the bottom.. Might not be much help but I'll try to look at mine this evening to see..
