Air bag light after sparco install

So my driverside airbag exploded, i swapped both for sparcos, did the resistor mod for the airbag light to go off but it stayed on. Do i have to reset it or somthing? How would i do this? Thanks!

Once an airbag light is triggered, it will stay on until it is reset (will not turn off by itself, even after the condition is corrected). A decent MINI/BMW shop can reset it through their diagnostic tool, or the dealer can reset it as well.
