Replacing or painting drip rails
The drip rails around my roof are not looking good, and I'm wondering how difficult they would be to replace and/or have painted.
Any experience or thoughts?

Have you tried using Black Wow on them? That stuff will clean off anything, even old wax that's turned white.

Yeah, BW covers it up okay, but doesn't last. They seem dried out, but not really gray. OctaneGuy himself attempted to treat them to no avail!
I'm sure the parts are cheap, but I just wonder what's involved in the installation.

They aren't difficult to replace, they are just expensive. I think they are around $75 each. To me it would be worth it for aesthetics.

Thanks. I relied on the automatic search when I typed in my subject. Since that poster didn't know what to call the drip rails, it didn't show up!
Here's another thread, too:

I don't like the part of the process where the weather stripping needs to be pulled partway off. I've got a dry spot in the corner on the passenger side and I don't think I should tempt fate by pulling on it.

Dry spot? like dry-rot/cracking?

Yep. It's minor, but it's there in the 90-degree corner where the weather stripping turns from the ceiling down the B-pillar.
