r53 tail light dissasembly?

I've been searching for a couple hours now on how to take apart the tail light. So far the closest thing I have found is the "Chad Mod" thread on M.U.

http://www.motoringunderground.com/f...light=chad+mod

I can't seem to find the "3 Plastic welds." I don't to just start tearing crap apart either.

although I still don't know where those 3 plastic welds are on the other side, it didn't matter. luckily i had black under the chrome and didn't need to do anything else.

The whole reason I de-chromed the inside because I didn't want the chrome to show through the tint. I didn't plan on it being that dark though! oh well, now I just need to put 5% around the back 3 windows and blackout the mini emblem/cooper

I know =( I didn't think that the tint spray would end up so dark! that's only one layer with 3 coats of clear. However, i'm still glad I de-chromed the ring because i would have been extra mad if the chrome was still showing.
