Plastidip on hood scoop?

Will it be able to withstand the temps? I have just read that the CF scoops melt, so I didn't know if plasti dip would have problems too.

I did mine with spray truck bed liner. It has stuck to everything I have ever used it on. Not the case with the scoop or other chrome. So I'm gonna try this. However, has anyone tried the Krylon Fusion? It seems like it could work too. If not, I'll give it a go and report back.
