stripe installation

I just purchased some OEM Bonnet stripes for my 03 mini. They did not come with any instructions. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Search youtube for 'vinyl installation how-to.' You will find two methods, wet and dry method. Pick which one works for you.

I replaced mine about six months ago with no worries. I used blue painters tape and a straight edge to mark allignment lines. Work slowly and be patient. One thing I didn't find out till working on the second stripe. If you use some downward pressure with the palm of your hand as the stripe is laid over the nose of the bonnet, it will help straighten out the little curls that form along the edge of the stripe. If you do wind up with a small bubble or two, a few days out in the sun should take care of them.
