Checker rear view mirror

Im sorry if this has been posted before but I have been looking how to remove my rear view mirror. I am thinking of continuing my checker theme in my car but cant figure out how the heck to take that bad boy off!!

I want to replace it with the checker sorry. I want to still be able to see when I back up. I know some people dont like the rear view mirror but it doesnt bother me. I just want it to be checker!

Dory: The checker cover is just that, a cover. It comes with double stick tape on the cover with the side adjacent to the mirror with a clear strip that hangs outside the cover. You place the cover on the mirror (with it in place) hold the cover and pull on the tape. The mirror cover is now stuck permanently, no need to remove the mirror.
