my custom front license plate holder

Hey guys. I couldn't justify paying $50+ for a front license plate bracket, so I decided to make one myself using a modified factory tow hook. I had access to steel bars and tons of tools from my friend's dad's steel shop. Here are the results:








As you can see from the pics, the hight of the license plate is slightly adjustable. Only two configurations are shown in the pics.

Do you have pics of the hook from behind? I was playing with this idea for a while, because, i too, cannot get myself to spend 50$ on a holder

I'll take some pics later, but I pretty much cut the tow hook to make a Y and welded the 2 points onto a steel bar.
