White/blue LEDs in speedo/tach

UPDATED WITH NEW PICS

A member of the forum replaced my leds in my tach and speedo for white and blue. These are some teaser pictures he sent me. I get them in Wed. and then i'll take some more pictures. I cant resist...
He also made my needles blue also.

The member who did this for me is Joes14 great guy!

just got them in. They look great.
here are some new pictures
its hard for them not to look insanly bright. its just the camera. they can be dimmed pretty low.

what do you think!

Huh, cool. I'd love to change the orange LEDs to blue/white, but I'm assuming it's far too complicated/pricey/risky for me.

Be sure to post more pics when you get it!

there's been other posts on this too..
it involves taking out the tach and the speedo, taking it apart and unsolder the tiny leds and resolder the new ones..you need a good amount of soldering skills to tackle this mod yourself..
im ok with soldering..but i think i'd fry the circuit board..

Someone needs to figure out how to wire in multicolored LEDs with some control circuitry so that you can change the color when you want, perhaps with some sort of knob. Only this will get me to replace the orange LEDs.

Sorry, crappy pics. That is just the blue running in with the white and my terrible picture taking ability that makes it look purple. Malcon will take some nicer pics when he gets them in Im sure!
