Mighty Stripes and Offset Stripes (need some aesthetic advice)

Hi Everyone,

I have a Chili Red MCS with black top coming in. I plan on using a lot of chrome detailing after I recieve the vehicle. I found that I really like some of the Mighty Stripes Offset Stripes. Here's my fave look:

http://mightystripes.com/PhotoGaller...allery/17.html

Any thoughts about using this with the scoop and on an '09? Also, aesthetically, I'm torn between white stripes on the boot/bonnet (with my racing number on top), black stripes on the boot/bonnet and white on top, or something different - maybe chrome stripes, baby blue, or other.

Would love to get someone else's opinion. Especially if you've seen these live before.

Best regards,

CG

The offset stripe was what I remember most from the late 1960's. Typically, it was something like a 4" wide stripe with 1/2" stripes on either side.

I purchased stripes from MightyStripes when I first got my MINI and didn't know anything. They were garbage - low quality vinyl, shipped in a box that caused them to crease, no protective film on them.

I strongly recommend another company. I would swear by the work done by Lyle and VinylStyles - he's top notch.
