CF hood with molded in hood scoop

Thought this was cool. It's a CF hood with the scoop molded in. It's from raceonusa.com

Looks nice, but would look much better actually painted.

Anyway, that hood is pretty cool, but I don't care for that aerokit.

I would paint something like Tuls with a little carbon showing. The thing I like is molded in scoop like Gnat did to his stock hood.

I think that's called a "verp"; part vomit-part burp. Yeah, sounds almost as nasty as the taste.

I would prefer it without the MINI emblem -- for an even cleaner look.

I think it depends on the color of the Orciari kit. The red with black accents is pretty sharp.

The Seibon hood that LB had posted has a molded scoop and it's shite! It likes to crack. The hood posted above is the ViS hood that 99% of us run and has a detachable scoop...In fact I put one on today...

VIS Hood

I prefer the VIS hood because my DFIC scoop blended just fine.

So the VIS hood doesn't have a blended in hood scoop?

I think he may be talking about the m7 CF/DFIC scoop matching the CF pattern on the hood...

Seibon="molded" scoop, like Nate.
VIS=detatchable scoop, like stock...
I believe...

Bzzz… Wrong… Seibon hood below.

You ca buy just the scoop if you want.

It appears that Seibon does not make a hood with a molded in scoop. If someone bought one they got ripped off by a fake. There is a LOT of fake Seibon out there. They have a stellar reputation in the Japanese import scene but you have to make sure you are getting the real deal.

Perhaps they redesigned the product. Either way the photos are hot linked directly from the Seibon site, not some goofy 3rd party site. So I tend to believe that they are the real deal.

Do you know what the prices are for these? I checked their site, but I didn't see any prices. I guess if you have to ask....
