Got my Hella Black Magic lights today!

Wooh! Got my Hella Black Magic driving lights today. This weekend i'm gonna fab up some brackets to mount them. I'm having second thoughts about them though lol. These lights are freaken huge! They do look sweet though, cool black look when off. I am mounting them in the upper grill...gonna see how that looks. Anyone else use these before? I know a few Mini vendors sell them with brackets and stuff for the R56.

I've seen a few pictures of Minis with them, but only pre-R56's, installed down where it would block the intercooler for us. I think they look good there, and had them on the short of mods for my car to try out.

Are you doing two or four?

I'll second the request for pictures too

Haha, will do. At the least I'll get a picture of the lights themselves and everything they come with tonight. I can't mock them up on my car quite yet since it's at the body shop :( Didn't have the time or I would have repaired it myself lol.

Just two, i'm gonna see what they look like in the upper grill lined up with the bonnet stripes...we'll see. I'm just worried about the shear size of these monsters lol

Yeah, if I was doing 4 i'd mount them like that, but I really like the look of them in the upper grill instead when it's just 2 lights. Might look goofy with lights this big though. Worst comes to worst i'll sell these and get some smaller ones.

Nope, too big to mount where I want to! Returning them probably on monday. If anyone wants em i'd need 232 plus shipping to break even on them. I got a good deal on them so I figure I can pass that along...If not, no big deal.
