Depending on how big the chips are I actually find that a toothpick works great. When you try to "Paint" the chips you get brush strokes and it looks awful. Just stick a toothpick in the touchup and dab the chip to fill it up with a drop of paint. It works better if there is still primer under the chip but it should still look fine with no primer. You can clear it if you want, but when you start adding lots of layers it gets more difficult to get the paint thickness correct and you're going to have rough spots.

In my opinion the rock chip thing is a losing battle My front facia is so chipped its unbelievable. It'd be a full time job keeping it free of chips. You're better off getting everything repainted and installing a clearbra.

Try: http://www.langka.com/.

I haven't gone through this process yet, but have discussed it at length in several threads. Try here to start.

I got a paint pen from autovisuals.com and it works wonders, they do an exact paint match to your paint and real easy to use!
