GP style roof spoiler

Has anyone either tried to mount a GP rear Spoiler on a Cooper S or Is there any company that makes a look a like for the Cooper S

Rumor has it there is a small company in Texas that removed a GP Wing from a car recently and made tracings of all the parts. I hear it's still with the fabricators with molds for the parts under production.

While I'm no fan of the uprights, the wing has a beautiful curve that blends very well with the roofline. So many other wings just look like ricer stickons, IMHO. Pity it's so expensive...but I'm sure the Alliance could come up with an alternative!

I think that it was Essential MINI that had a GP style wing for sale. But since they are no more I think will have to wait on the Texans. Depending on price I would for sure buy one.

I can get you one if you want beeeeotch. But it will cost like $2K. And yes...it comes with a new window I believe. The GP and MCS decklids are different too as far as I remember....Not worth it in my opion. Where the hell have you been? Not returning my calls? Were you in Phoenix that night?

Brian works at Fireballed Racing and they work with MINI USA for the Beast drag MINI. So I would assume that Tim over there has a few more connections than most people. And I think they have a few GP's in their stable as well.
