Need some views on interior color line and interior surface combinations

Having configured my prospective 2008 MCS in mellow yellow, a black top and bonnet stripes, and black punch carbon leather seats, and equipping it with both the JCW Aero Body kit and Stage I kit, I'm now trying to decide on an interior color and surface combination that would look best. For example:

1. Dark grey color line with piano black surface;
2. Dark grey color line with brushed aluminum surface; or
3. Mellow yellow color line with piano black surface.

Which of those combinations, or any other combination of color line and interior surface, do you think would look best in my prospective Mini??

Thanks in advance for your help.

1. This would be a safe bet.

2. I'm not fond of the aluminum interiors.

3. would depend on personal taste. I would probably get tired of it after awhile.

I have the cream color line with piano black on my PW/B with lounge leather and LOVE it - such a luxurious, classic look. However with a MY/B exterior and punched carbon leather I'd go with the mellow yellow color line and piano black. Not to be overly literal but I like the look of a color line which ties in with the exterior or at least some other part of the MINI. I do agree that's it's a definite matter of personal taste. Also I'm biased as I have something against the dark grey color line - just too subdued and almost dreary for my tastes. Unless it's combined with redwood red LL in which case it equals major hotness. Regardless of color line I'd highly recommend piano black trim. So my order of preference would be 3,1,2.
Best of luck with your decision.

I agree with MSteadman. #3.

When I was considering what color to get. I checked out a MY/B MCS on my dealer's lot. Bringing the outside colors into the car just gave the car a more thought out and complete look.

Besides, I think A MINI needs something that really is eye grabbing. Just my personal opinion, but grays and silvers are too subdued for a quirky, little car.
They seem more fitting on BMWs. Again, just my opinion. I don't mean to offend anyone else and their color choice.
