Tires ?? TIRES ??

You listed TIRES as a mod ??!!??

Good thing you had 16 and not just 15, I'd have had to boot you out of the club. Or had one of our club Presidents do it for me.

But aren't tires a mod? I mean, we modified our car by getting aftermarket, non-runflat, different tires...doesn't that count?!
Some people listed the arm rest, the euro shelf, the glove box organizer...and you ask about tires

Great thread BTW. Love seeing what everyone has done, not just hearing that they have done a lot!
I will be SURE to add Cecilia on here when I get through with her!

Tires wear out and need replacement periodically. It's not a MOD ! Hey, I switched to non-runflats last month and still had maybe 5K miles of tread left on the runflats. But it's not a mod !

But because TT is one of my favorite posters and because you are a big cheese in our DCMM club, I'm going to relent and give up my argument and call tires a certified modification.

How about this if you changed width or profile you can call them a MOD?

Works for me. I went from 195/55/16 to 205/50/16. I guess I can add tires to my list.

And Stacey... that grin has more cheese than a 6 Large Chicago-style Pizzas.

Now, to be fair, half the stuff MSFITOY listed will wear out and need to be replaced periodically, too.... if driven in a manner befitting that fine automobile. (if "blowed up" is the same thing as "wore out")

I know they are fluff but I was desperate to be in the club so I had to squeak a few out I got Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires & since they are a different size & not the manufacturer's recommended runflats I listed them as a mod

OK, here are mine. Every time I think I'm done I find something new to do!

JCW Sound Kit
MTH Basic ECU Remap
ITG Foam Drop-In Filter
Alta 19mm Rear Sway Bar
M7 Strut Reinforcement Plates
Euro Parcel Shelf
OEM Front Fog Lights
Euro Arm Rest (the best!)
OEM Glove Box Organizer
OEM Wind Deflector
Forge Alloy Coolant Overflow Tank
Pulsar Third Brake Light
Backup Light (in rear fog light spot)
Multivex Mirror on passenger side
Ian Cull Auto Up Circuit with Garage Door Opener
The ImagoX "Light That Boot" Mod
M7 USS System (purchased but not yet installed)
HELIX Wheel Stud Conversion Kit

That's most of the the functional stuff. Except for my new Konig Rewinds and Kumho tires, everything else is for appearance. Since the Cooper is not as easy to upgrade for engine performance, I have done a lot of mods just for looks.

Forge Alloy caps under the bonnet
Chrome Spark Plug Caps
MINI Wings Oil Dipstick
Color Matched Plug wires
Color Matched Shift Ball
Redline Goods Custom Shift and EBrake boots
Chrome Door Panel Buttons
Leather Door Handle Covers
CooperFlags Checkered Roof Graphic
Cooper Contacts from MINISwag
Chrome Oogah Horn with Color Matched Button
MINIBee Europlate
Checkered Mirror Caps
Kass Motorsports Aluminum Stubby Antenna

And for some piece of mind while driving:

Valentine One Radar Detector, hard-wired with remote display (Installed with tips from BlimeyCabrio and ImagoX)
Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx with RAM suction cup mount

And because I'm so devoted to LY and the cabrio:

Custom MINI Cuckoo Clock

Bamatt, you really got an issue with those Bimbo rotors. Thionk I'll stick with stock, though I may paint them red. And all my mods are pretty much fluff.

I didn't even look at that. If this is for first gen, 15+ mods is nothing.
