NEW Gauges from ALTA and Prosport

New to the ALTA line up of gauges is the Prosport AFR Gauges. these gauges are available in 60mm Analog to match the other Prosport Gauges we offer or a 52mm Digital version.

Affordable, accurate AFR gauge kit in a simple to mount Gauge Pod from ALTA

One of the key things to monitor when modifying any car is the Air Fuel Ratio (AFR). To Rich(to much fuel & lower number) and you will lose power have excessive buildup in the cylinder and shorten the life of the catalyst system amongst other things. To lean (not enough fuel & higher number) and you will run into detonation issues (bad for engine). Most modern turbo or supercharged vehicles like to be about 14.7 AFR when idling or cruising and between 11.0 - 12.8 AFR at peak torque. The factory will usually have these cars run richer (like 10.0-10.9 AFR at peak torque) so tuners will lean it out in that area as one of the first steps to tuning. Newer direct injection engines (like the R56) will like to be leaner at peak torque because the high pressure injection has a cooling effect and has better atomization, both are more resistant to detonation.

Analog ONLY $279.99 (includes ALTA Pod Mount) click to see on ALTA web site

Digital ONLY $269.99 (includes ALTA Pod Mount) click to see on ALTA web site
