After meeting for many moons south of I-10, the Houston MINI Motoring Society is taking advantage of Spring weather up north for the HMMS April monthly meeting.
Also, after our HMMS meeting, we are planning to take advantage of the location to “hook up” at nearby Hooks Airport with the MINI Cooper Club of The Woodlands at about 12:30 PM for a Bluebonnet inspectin' tour and fun drive. (See separate announcement to be posted by MCOW: MCOW Drive.)

Strack’s is a country, family restaurant, formerly surrounded by their farm. We will be meeting in a reserved area in the back of the main restaurant. Check out the breakfast menu using the above link.
Strack’s is popular for breakfast, starting at 7:00 AM, with the breakfast rush pretty well over by 10:00 AM, and they have plenty of paved parking. We can park out in front (I suggest the west end of the lot), but if the front lot is still crowded, they have a nice lot behind the restaurant that will be right outside our windows during our meeting. Early arrivals get to make the call!
Members, guests, and curious visitors are welcome! We have “reservations” for about 36 peeps, but there should be room in the adjacent section of the restaurant at that hour for many more. MCOW and Aggie MINI Club members and MiniFunDrive regulars planning to go on the MCOW fun drive afterwards are most welcome to join us for breakfast!
This meeting will be the official meeting to orally place names in nomination for the 2009-2010 HMMS Officers. Currently, the election appears to be wide open. Be there or risk being drafted!
We’ll also have our usual opportunities for show-and-tell, trouble-shooting, recounting tales of recent events, and promoting upcoming ones, t-shirt and sticker sales, dues payments, and the opportunity to visit with friends and share club concerns.
