HOUSTON DIY???

Any plans for a Houston DIY Day? Seems like a great idea. Especially for us newbies.

Yes, this is one of the types of activities we are working on at the HMMS. Maybe you can help us plan one such activity, any particular item you want to work on first?

I would like to put something under the back seat and anything else to reduce road noise. In a lengthy DIY thread, there was some talk about putting a piece of rubber mat under the seat that significantly reduces road noice. They claimed to have obtained large 1" thick rubber mats for $4, but I've no idea where at that price.

Also, help touching up rock chips in the paint.
