Once again, we’re going back to Café Express (1101 Uptown Park Blvd, Houston 77056, link )for our February 2009 monthly meeting. Please plan to arrive by 10:45 AM so you can order, find a table, and we can get our meeting underway by about 11:00 AM.
Early birds can get there early for “Cars & Coffee” which normally meets near the south end in Uptown Park from about 8:30 AM on the first Saturday of the month. Have a Starbucks and enjoy the exotics! If you get there early, you may want to park as a group on the east side of the parking lot, as we have been doing at recent meetings.
Café Express has a side room (as you come in from the south entrance) that will comfortably accommodate us (provided no one else is using it). We'll be opening the place, and because ordering and seating is self-service, we can try to grab that room for our meeting.
Show and Tell us about your latest MINI stuff, report on Trouble-Shooting and recent MINI activities you’ve attended, hear announcements and help us plan for upcoming events. Dues for 2009 may be paid (see Treasurer Bob). Please bring your concerns, suggestions, and new ideas for club events, swag, etc. Elections are coming so be looking at your fellow Miniacs as potential HMMS officers, and don’t be shy about making your own “political ambitions” known! Finally, please don’t forget your aluminum can pull tabs for Ronald McDonald House.
Our VP, John, will be among the missing. He hopes to pass on the spotter cards to someone who will be attending, and will try to do the same with specific T-shirt requests, if you will let him know (PM JCScooper) what you need by the 30th. Otherwise T-shirts will again be available at the March meeting.
