Hi everybody,
I haven't spent too much time over here since the wife got to take the MCS in the divorce, but a few of us from other forums are planning a C&C gtg at Starbucks Coffee in Uptown Park this weekend, corner of Post Oak and 6-10. We have done it a few times, and the one thing I've noticed missing are some MINIs. Tentative time is 8:30-ish am till-----whenever. Here is a link to some pics from the largest one we've had so far. I hope to see some of you there.
Cheers
MINIs must be about the only thing missing! Beautiful collection of cars, I especially like that Super7! Do you know who makes that one? I'll put a link to here on the Houston Happenings forum on metroplexMINI. Maybe some of us will show up. Thanks for the invite.
Here are some pics from the weekend. It was a small group, but it was fun nonetheless. Hope to see you guys next time.
The owner of this Ferrari, had recently spun it and gone backwards into a something hard and unyielding. He bought a used 360 Challenge bumper (hence all of the stickers) and is getting the rest of the bodywork done soon. He isn't concerned with perfection or resale. He just wants to drive the piss out of the car. I can respect that.
The owner of the green Elise is the lady in the gray dress, and lives around the corner from me. I chased her down Thursday as she was driving through the neighborhood, and told her about the meeting. Any gal that daily drives (yes d.d. status) an Elise is ok in my book.
This GT was running a Whipple charger and an exhaust that sounded like cannon fire on the over-run.
Not a big Cayenne fan, but this GTS looked fantastic.
I want a Caterham in the worst possible way.
The current Viper has lost so much visual impact compared to the original GTS
