We should have one in the woodlands. I think I have seen about 20 minis in the woodlands.

Yes, there is another MINI club--MINI Club of The Woodlands (MCOW). I belong to the Houston club also (HMMS). MCOW just had its monthly meeting last night, and we have scheduled a drive in March, which will run the twisty roads north of Houston. We would do it in February, but our club event is appearing in the Go-Texan day parade running through Conroe.
Love these small towns! At least you get to run through all the downtown lights without worrying about the cops!
MCOW meets at 7:30 PM on the third Wednesday of the month; HMMS meets at 10:00 on the first Saturday of the month. Come to both!
HMMS also has periodic drives, but I don't have information about the next one. There is often coordination between the two clubs, and all are welcome to meetings and drives. Bring your MINI!

(That's a heap o' fun motoring, too--I work out of my home and never commute!)
The Houston club's web page is hmms.org, but it appears to be down this evening. It should be back up by tomorrow morning, since it's run on a web portal that also is used for several businesses.
There's also a drive being arranged by MiniPlay (who just posted above), with details at MINIFunDrives.com. The next one is to the casinos in/around Lake Charles, meeting up with the GSM (Gulf South Motoring) club from the Louisiana/Mississippi area.
