HELP !!! NEED Mini cooper short shifter installation
I recently bought a MINI COOPER S R53 is there a shop that installs short-shifter?
I want a shop who specialize in MINI COOPER. Or is their someone out there who did this quite a few times
that it's very easy for them to do.

Did you buy the short shift kit already?
Labor is about one hour, any mechanic can do it.
Depending on where you live or work there are many options.
There are no MINI specific independent shops but in Honolulu there is-
http://www.yelp.com/biz/bavarian-motor-experts-honolulu
Otherwise if you live in central Oahu I have a mechanic that can do it for less than what BME would charge.

EDIT: My original post was a bit misleading. I have basic hand tools, a low profile jack, four jack stands, a torque wrench and several misc tools. I also have a few special tools on the way that are R50,52, & 53 specific and I'm willing to work on others' cars. I just want to be crystal clear on this; I'm a self-taught mechanic. I'm not ASE certified or anything like that but I'm confident in my mechanical abilities. I will require compensation upon someone requesting assistance because time is money. How much money totally depends on the job and you'll need to provide the work space as I do not have a shop to work out of. I'm pretty R52 & 53 savvy and have the Bentley Repair Manual. Also, ModMini has some great DIY videos on YouTube if you have your own tools.
Thanks,
Anthony
