Biggest Little Airshow in Hawaii

Look for MINIs in the parking lot and drivers at a table outside Starbucks

The first weekend in June has a very fun event: the Biggest Little Airshow in Hawaii! This is an airshow of radio controlled aircraft including historic fighters, modern jets, helicopters, and all kinds of other cool stuff.

Buy your tickets in advance, $5 per person or $15 for a family of up to 6 (3 and younger are free, so don't purchase tickets for them).

Let's gather where we normally do at 9am and head over to the show at 9:30 to get parking together before it fills up. We *are* allowed to drive to Ford Island for this, so we can get a shot of all the cars together with perhaps a cool background that would normally not be available to us.

 

Post here if you plan to go this sunday to the biggest little airshow.

You can buy tickets ahead of time. You'll be allowed to drive onto Ford island to see the show. Might be a great activity for kids.

9:00am -Meet at Mini of Hawaii (continental breakfast provided? Will confirm) dealership on Ala Moana Blvd
9:30am - Head out up pali stopping at the Pali lookout for possible photo opportunities.
10-10:30am - Head out for Kailua town. Cruise through Kailua making pit stop at Safeway on Keolu st for bathroom break.
11am - Head out for Hawaii Kai shopping center. Cruise around Kalaniana’ole ending at BYO Bowl for lunch

We are doing a meet and greet at this Starbucks location. There is plenty of parking and parking is free with a validated ticket. (Purchase anything in that strip mall). This parking lot/Starbucks is across the street from Dunkin Donuts.
Hoping to meet some of you and discuss future meetups and what we would like to do with the club! Afterwards I may take a drive to Ko'olina if anyone wants to cruise there! Looking forward to meeting you!
