Panhandle MINIs next event is a carshow in Fort Walton Beach on Sept 11th at the High School on Hollywood Blvd at 9am. Last year it rained all day, but the hardcore car fanatics gathered under the big, blue tent of mine and became instant fast friends to stay dry. You never know what connections you might make at one of these carshow. Chris Ray sold a pair of New Beetle wheels to a guy under the tent that I ended up meeting a month later out in the surf line-up.
This show is very, shall we say, “Low-key” on the judging. It is mostly JROTC folks trying to raise money for the school, so let’s show them the MINIs rock and we support our future soldiers.

Lets all try to show up by 9am so we can park together in the show area. Don’t want to show, then come by with a chair and your favorite beverage, sit a spell and just talk cars.
I'll be there on the 11th. I'm just going to hang out and BS because the MENE's to beat up to show, even if I changed the strapping tape holding the passenger side mirror on.
