All of you out there in the Gulf Coast area wanting a regional forum, it's come.
Living in the panhandle of Florida, I can drive to New Orleans in 4 hours, but takes 8 hours to go to Orlando. Let's get the Gulf Coast reigon going.
Welcome all in the Gulf Coast area, Texas to Florida, welcome all. We are the greatest MINI people about.
Here is a Louisiana based site that will host a Mini track day once a month at NoProblem Raceway in Belle Rose, LA (30min from BR and 1 hour from NO).
First track day will be July 22nd at 9am. We need to get at least 10 drivers a month to make the 3 hour time slots as economical as possible.
We seriously need to get something going on for us gulf coasters!!!!!

We live in Foley, which is a short jump to Pensacola. Had heard that Sandy Sansing in Pensacola was opening a new Mini dealership. Went by this week, and the building is on the way to completion. They said that their opening target date is 8/1/2009.
Brian Harris Mini in Baton Rouge has been great to me, but it will be really nice to have someone closer. Our Clubman S will have a new "home".
Thought that you will like to be aware of the new dealership opening. It's going to make things a lot closer for many of us.

Is it too late for me? I've got a classic Mini and my wife drives an '07 MC. We're in the Spanish Fort, Alabama area.
