Did you install this on the GP 2?

If so any warranty issues?

Thanks!

Would i really feel a difference with a forge fmic?
What intake did you end up with?

Yes I can definitely feel the difference with the intercooler.

I haven't done much to the car with the cold winter here as logging temps is better with more reasonable temps. I have a couple different intake options here that I'm going to try. I'll update more when I get stuff installed and tested.

Are the GP2 down pipe and intercooler any different than the ones found on the JCW?

No, they are the same as the standard JCW car.

About to go to England, would any of your bigger downpipes pass emissions checks? I know the delete r would get rid of a light, but a real check?

Does anyone know if u can just buy the volume and phone controls from Way without the whole cruise control housing. If so does this still need to be programmed by dealer. cheers

I asked that too. Evidently the steering wheel controls plug into the turn signal/wiper control module. The module on our GPs doesn't have a place to receive the steering wheel controls.

Ok thanks for the info. Looks like i will order the whole package as it to me is worth having the volume control. Now i just have to ask the dealer if they even know how to program it.cheers

Way, can you please confirm that all I need to activate the rear fog light would be replacing the center toggle switch panel along with a new toggle switch? Then the dealer can just program it to work? Cuz somehow, I have been told that my car doesn't have wiring for the rear fog light behind the toggle switch panel. Please advise. Thanks.

Hi Way.

Have you added the hidden compartment back to a GP, using the original GP cover plate?

Actually I'm just about to do this as it should be a simple add on, but we'll find out soon.

I know of one GP2 owner who retrofit the hidden compartment. There were some issues with it coming in contact with the GP leather dash.

Way. Can you let us know how the fit works out on the one you are doing?

hey way, figure out how to get that area apart? I gotta stuff the denison in there and every time I've looked, it looks like -way- too much disassembly...there's gotta be an easy way.

Yes I got it in and working

No cutting was required, but did have to special mount a couple nuts to get it all working. I'm putting together a kit for people to install it, but it's over $200 in parts so far.

Why wasn't the secret compartment included on the GP2? Was it to save weight?
