2013 mini gp

If they are coming in January, not October, maybe I should retract my deposit and just order a JCW Coupe. Gah. Decisions. I really don't want to drive a RWD roadster in the snow but I also don't want to miss the opportunity to own a limited edition MINI. With Coupe sales as they seem to be maybe that'll end up a limited edition by accident. LOL.

September/October time frame is consistent with the original GP build dates and is also when BMW typically switches over to next MY tooling/build (September). So October would be when the first 2013 GP2s should start showing up is my best guess.
If they are as fast as everyone says they will be, then I see one in my future. I particularly like the grey color too. But I'm not bidding up on the car as I heard GP1 owners did the first time around.

I would LOVE the Coupe form factor. I just can't wait that long! I don't need the back seats. I have no dogs. No kids. No friends. No life. I don't need back seats.
Dudes are bagging on the MINI Roadster on Car & Driver. One guy said the Lincoln Navigator sold more. Another said it wasn't a man's car. Another said the VW EOS should be considered instead. Another said it was stupidly overpriced. Another said he'd never seen everyone agree that a car was such a failure. Brutal really. They are horsepower-obessed. I said my piece. Here's the link if you wanna contribute to the conversation: http://backfires.caranddriver.com/fo...um_post_342211

Kurster. Were you the one who drove you M Coupe to Peabody to put a deposit down on the new GP?

Is this a sneak peek at next year's interior or am I just late to the party? http://newcarsrelease.net/2013-mini-...oper-interior/

I will see the 2013 GP in a few weeks at MTTS and will post pics. It will probably be a pre-production version, so may not have the correct interior yet, but will pass along any details.

I am curious if we will be able to look inside it. I have a feeling it will be the same with the tinted windows as it was at MINI United. Since the official release is set around September... :/
