Couple of questions about the Voltage CAI for GP?

  • Does anyone have any recent experience of using the Voltage 53R CAI on their GP or JCW? [I'm not having much luck finding an OEM JCW box!] http://www.voltageproductsonline.com/intakes.html
  • Is Voltage still in business? [I've not had much luck getting a response from them]

Thanks very much in advance!

I do not know anything about the Voltage CAI but it looks interesting from the website info. I suggest you contact Jan at RMW and ask him about the CAI since he supposedly uses them.

Guess you are doing it for looks right, maybe some extra sound?
The GP's JCW intake is about the same gain as the best intakes...too quiet for some, but you can do the flap removal on it to make it louder.

I'm trying to get back to the stock OEM JCW airbox, but these are proving extremely difficult to find. The Voltage 53R would be pretty close to a "stock look" if painted semi flat black. However, I have since heard that the chap at Voltage builds the 53R more as a low volume hobby, so they are also extremely difficult to come by (like Hens teeth). So my airbox challenge continues!

Too bad the original owner didn't keep the JCW airbox ... new ones are outrageously expensive
