2013 GP Rims & Brakes & Seats in 2006 GP?

One of the things I've been wondering about is if the '13 GP rims, brakes, and seats will work in a '06 GP as a mod.

The rims and brakes on the '06 GP don't cut it for me from a performance standpoint. The '06 rims with runflats are simply too harsh and aren't track worthy. Plus, the rims are fragile. Likewise, the '06 brakes can fade on a track day session. Finally, we never got the Recaros for '06 because of the airbag issue, but those problems seem to have been worked out for the '13 GP.

Does anyone know if this sort of retro mod using a '13 package of rims, brakes and seats will work?

Not sure of any particular reason as to why they wouldn't fit however....

For wheels and brakes there are many better options than those from a GP2.

The 17s and brakes on the new GP would be nice on the R53 GP and remain somewhat OEMish.

there has been a thread covering the brakes, since they are the same as the bmw performance M brakes, they fit, but you need 17 in wheels or larger. check the modifications page, I think the BMW performance will be cheaper was well, they would just need repainted.

wheels are cool, and should fit and how do you know they aren't as fragile as yours?

seats can be modded to fit, its like just replacing the r53 seats with r56, should be the same. again in the modifications section, someone has done a very detailed bit about this
