Firstly, maybe the title should be changed to "almost finished"....
Found out that AP Racing make a 2 piece disc the same size as the one that comes in the 1 piece BBK, they just don't advertise it!
About a 4 week lead time as they're made to order.....not the cheapest thing in the world as you initially have to buy the aluminium bells and discs...when it comes to replacement time just the discs will be needed.
Quite a weight saving over the 1 piece plus....they look smart

Finished - Almost Finished
For most projects, such as customizing a MINI, "Finished" means that the current list has been checked off. It does not take long to find some new, interesting things that begin another list.
A well done GP. Great photos - and, we do enjoy photos of MINIs, particularly such excellent quality images. Thanks for sharing the photos and sharing the list of modifications you have selected for your car. May you gain many hours of enjoyment of your "Finished" project.

Well, a few more changes planned for the New Year...
Thought for a while now that the back end looked a little on the plain side so....
Mini Challenge rear diffusers planned! It will entail a smaller battery (Varley Red Top) to enable the battery box depth to be reduced which, in turn, means I'll be able to fit the reqd R56 style exhaust.
This is the link to the one that's likely to be going on...

It's from GPGarage in Italy and has the bonus of being designed to add to a R53 system meaning it will connect straight up to my current Milltek centre pipe.....and may also lead to the neighbours complaining about rattling windows

Just a couple of small updates.
There is a magazine over here called ModernMini and they contacted me ref doing a feature on the car.....and I wasn't going to say no
Anyhow, it led to spending 4 hrs in the company of a guy called Matt Woods who is an automotive photographer for various car mags....some are below.
Car is booked in this month for the diffusers etc and will have a chat with the guys there (1320) about some serious engine mods!!....want this thing to be a bit of a fire breather and to have enough go to match its looks...currently at 250 bhp but looking to take it to approx 275 / 280 with a bvh and then looking at means of making the power delivery more efficient....
