Can Bus

I am lookng at a Dashhawk obdii scanner it tells me the car has to have Can bus can anyone tell me if it will work on the GP

The GP has the OBDII interface and doesn't use the CAN-Bus protocol like the later gen 2's. If you want to double check, the CAN protocol would require the following pins to be populated in your OBDII connector.

Pin
5 Ground
6 Data
14 Data
16 Power

Correct - the OBD-II in the GP is NOT CAN compatible.

I think it looks good I an thinking about the Dash dyno now as I have been told the dash hawk will not work because I do not have the Can bus on my GP
