Hi NAM members, today I was searching for a Mini GP, I found this GP which got an accident in 02/09. It has lots of damaged parts, I was figuring out Can I repair and fix this car? or is it difficult to fix this car?
I will let you with the picture...

Ouch, I'd say the car's beyond repair. That being said you could probably use some of the parts off of it to GP-ify an R53, if it were cheap enough I'd grab it up.

id say with having to find all those parts, it would be insanely expensive to repair. Then it probably would never drive right anyway. 17k is plain rediculous for having so much of it smashed up
Gotta agree; $17k is highway robbery for that pile of twisted metal. Run, don't walk, far, far away from this "deal"...

Not sure if the seats are even good... driver side maybe.. the shot of the inside indicates that the floor may have twisted. I just want 2 of the wheels But since the car is in Europe, not gonna try...

My "in need of a complete restoration" 1975 MGB is worth far more than that hunk of junk.

Sad ending to such a wonderful Mini
Not worth $17K. If you really want it, offer him no more than $5K and I'll take those rims.

The list of what's NOT broken on that car is very, very short... wow...
Pretty good bet at least one of the seats is destroyed from the collision... plus all the stuff you can see... with the airbox and coolant tank crushed and the bonnet and radiator in that condition, I wouldn't have high hopes for anything under the bonnet... there aren't many things on that car left to salvage, IMO...

He told me you can fix it, but after all your posts guys I will not think on it more. I will try to take some parts from it. Maybe tomorrow I will go to see the car.
Is it me or does the roof have some serious orange peel. already repainted once?
That car is well beyond economical repair, I don't know where you would start, You would invest more than the car is worth and certainly have more in the car than a solid used unmolested one would cost.
