Sorry, never been to Vermont. I heard a rumor once that you've got a really weird weather phenomenon in those parts. Something called "rain"?

I'm a retired Navy SCPO. I wonder how many other Chiefs own MINIs/Minis.

Motor On Shipmate.

Not a Chief, just an old O3 Army Grunt (RVN) and I drive an R56. A thought about growing up: When you stop laughing, gawping at pretty women and driving your MINI, the end is near!

CURRAHEE, Chief!!

DSOC Membership?

How do I know if I'm DSOC #506. Beelzebub is curious, too.

cpraser, great looking MINI. I really like the stripe treatment with M7 scoop, or did you paint the OEM scoop? Can't tell from the pic. Mine's the Ram2 scoop with OEM stripes which I thought was pretty cool till I saw yours. The blacked out grill must make it look real nasty in someone's mirrors !
[see pic in "Hood scoop melt-down" thread]

Very nice, though I agree it would look better still once the job is "finished".

It's an OEM painted Black. I was going to add some graphic on the scoop but decided to left it alone. I also like the M7 but OEM scoop panted only cost me $100 for a brand new one... so I am happy with that. I like the look of the car now but I think I am going to find someone to finished out the stripes so it would go all the way down.

I wanted to get black wheels but I think they would look too mean for me. Anthracite R99 is a happy middle of the road for me. I think it looks good with DS.
