It doesn't look like there's a lot of action in this club lately (other than new members joining, which is always a good thing.) So, just thought i'd drop in and say hello (<--- DSOC member for a month, since i got my MINI)

Hello everyone! This is my first post as an almost MCS owner!
I put down the deposit on my new '08 MCS (Ds/B, prem., sport(17" Web Spoke & black bonnet stripes,DSG, sport suspension), cold weather, Xenon, LSD, piano dash & trim, athracite, chrome int., HI-FI) on 3/21/08.
but I still have to wait a few very long weeks. Can't wait.

This MINI looks like mine -- I'm not sure if my driving lamps line up w/ my stripes or not, i never noticed actually. In my defense, i've only had her a month!

Taking ownership this Wednesday, April 30 after a 7.5 week wait. I will post pictures of her as soon as I can.
As for her name, Hiyumi is a hybrid name taken from Hitomi Yoshizawa and Sayumi Michishige, my two most favourite members of JPop group Morning Musume. Oh, and Hitomi means "eyes" in Japanese, and with the MINI's headlights, I found it appropos.

I hate to ask but has anyone noticed a decline in the number of DS MINIs around? When I first joined my club we usually had a bunch of Dark Silvers and then a few "other colors" now when we get together I'm the only one! Just curious if anyone else has noticed this trend. Can't say it's a bad thing, it is nice being unique (although I've always been the only DS/W in the group)

I took delivery of my DS/W MCS on Wednesday (see post 815 of this thread).
I haven't gotten around to taking/posting any pictures because I've been too busy getting familiar with her....driving her....and explaining to people why I have such a satisfied smile on my face.
Words cannot express just how much I LOVE my MCS.
