What is This Cover Under the Passenger Seat?
Hi gang. My wife just picked up a 2005 Mini Cooper Convertible (R52), and we're (read ME) starting to go through it.

What is the plastic cover that is under the passenger seat? One side of ours has broken off. It seems like it covers up a vent of some kind that sticks up from the floor.

Thats the cover for the amp or Nav disc driver if you have it.

In the convertible I think the Nav is under the driver's seat. It's under the passenger seat for the coupes.

It's the passenger ejector seat mechanism mount if you chose that option.
