Baltimore webcam

We have a new MINI Countryman coming in to the Baltimore port on the 8th or 9th of March. Does anyone know if there is a webcam that will show the ship when it arrives?

There's a cruise ship webcam, but I seriously doubt you'll find a webcam for the cargo port - First of all, there are national security implications ...

You might be able to track the ship .... do you know the name of the ship? If so go to

http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/home

this site tracks ships using their AIS data as captured by participating radio stations (voluntary) world wide. Without going into big detail ...

AIS has the ship reporting position data every few minutes by radio

The data is only sent a short distance - 15 miles or so - because it is primarily intended for ship - to - ship use. A ship has a transmitter and a receiver/display system.

This web site uses volunteer land stations to send the data they capture to a central site that displays the data on world maps

Once your ship get's near the Ches' Bay it will show up ... and be tracked all the way to the pier . . . probably.

this is a screen capture from this site of a cruise ship arriving at Port Canaveral (some options are turned on)

Baltimore Webcam

Yes, I hope the weather warms up a bit by the time the ship arrives. Our MINI departed from the Bremerhaven port, I did some searching and found a webcam there that shows the ships. http://www.bremerhaven.de/webcams-from-bremerhaven/
I was hoping to find something similar for Baltimore. I found this one: http://keycam.com/live but I'm not sure if the ship will past by here.

took a glance at the keycam today (cam 2) and happened to catch the WW ship Tamerlane going past, so it looks like the ships do pass by this webcam. Unfortunately I think the Fidelio, the ship my MINI is on will pass by at night, can't see much in the dark.
