frustrated passengers lift a Mini out of a tram's path after driver parked her car

Now that's a mini adventure! Astonishing moment frustrated passengers lift a Mini out of a tram's path after driver parked her car on the tracks
  • Passengers exit blocked trams to collectively lift the vehicle off the tracks
  • The driver eventually reappeared and was given a ticket by waiting officer
  • She drove off to ironic cheers from the gathered crowd in Nottingham
The fed-up bystanders in Nottingham took the law into their own hands (pictured right) after two trams were delayed for 15 minutes by the red car which had been clumsily left parked on the kerb (top and bottom left). The red-faced driver eventually returned to her car from a nearby coffee shop shortly afterwards and was given a penalty ticket by a waiting Nottingham Community Protection Officer. She was then treated to ironic cheers from the gathered crowd as she drove away.

Back in the olden days before PC we'd mutter under our breath 'women drivers!'. Hmmm...and sometimes, not mutter.

^^This!^^

My family once got trapped in a parking space in downtown Chicago by some jackwagon who decided the gap in between the metered parallel spaces was a free and convenient place to park his Honda Shadow. While my mother and fiance stood watch, my father and I dragged the bike onto the sidewalk. It was quite heavy, so we dropped it (ooops ). I don't know what the satisfying crunching noise was, but it sounded expensive.

Good on them for not blurring out the idiot's face before posting the photos. The world would be a better place if we had more public shaming. Bring back stocks on the town square, I say.

Screw being politically correct! I still find myself saying this. Even in Germany where the drivers are supposedly (not really) better.
