Hi all. Looking to upgrade my 2010 MCS with 49k miles to possibly a 2013 JCW with 14,500 miles.
Comes pretty much loaded with all the options, aero,HK, Recaro's etc. Is $29998 a bit much? This is from a local MINI dealership of course. Is there anything I should be aware of? I'm not too familiar with JCW just yet. It has the N18 engine, which is great!
Is the 2013 JCW covered under the MINI Next program?
They should give you at least $10,000 for 2010 MCS if you're going to do a trade in.
Yes, 2013 JCW has the N18 engine...
It is. I went to carmax this afternoon and they offered me $12,000. Not too shabby. I only have $6500 to put down after selling the MCS. I'd be happy to get into something around $24,000. Hmm

Hey - $12,000 is a good price for your 2010 MCS. I'm glad to hear that it's a MINI Next car.
That's my reasoning behind this purchase.. I bought my 2010 MCS this past may. Should have went with a JCW to begin with.
As I'm sure you already know the JCW used the N14 engine thru 2012. If you're really serious about getting a JCW...then the 2013 with its N18 engine is a good option, if it fits your budget.
